Climate-strong Independent Victorian Senate candidate Susan Benedyka is urging the Nationals to finally do what is best for Victoria and sign up to net zero emissions by 2050.
Ms Benedyka was disappointed by Senator Bridget McKenzie’s comments on ABC radio regarding the National Party’s chaotic positioning on Australia taking a net zero by 2050 policy to the Glasgow Climate Change Conference.
“The coal industry is not where Victoria’s future lies and the Nationals must accept that – this is about creating the future we want to see,” she said.
